Background Story
Being a carer for the last 8 years was the most rewarding job, though I decided I wanted to use my knowledge and skills in the Care Industry in a more office-based role. For the last year I was a Care Coordinator / Administrator for a Home Care Company. I absolutely loved it, gained a lot of experience, and saw a different side to the Care Industry. I came to CHA looking for an Administrator role, but was told about the Compliance Officer role and knew this was the perfect role for me. I love meeting and speaking to new people; I also love to help others in every way possible. I am so happy to be part of the team and cannot wait to see what the future holds for me here at CHA! I am looking forward to seeing how successful I will be.
Biggest Achievement
My biggest personal achievement would probably be when I used to compete in Competitive Obedience competitions with my Border Collie, Tommy. He went so far in the competitions, and it was so lovely to see because I trained him up myself and was just doing it for fun more than anything.
Also taking care of my Nan and being a big support for my family whilst trying to find a new career. I always remain positive in any situation and am proud of myself for this.
In work I would say my biggest achievement would be helping so many vulnerable people throughout my journey and building and retaining so many relationships.
Why Charles Hunter Associates?
I have heard a lot of good things about CHA and when reading reviews online I had only seen good things about the company. There is a fabulous atmosphere in the office and a great team around me. There is career progression and a lot of recognition for our hard work. I am so excited to start my journey with CHA.
