Adult's Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a fast paced, dynamic Intake team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team incorporates front door, and completes a range of assessments, conducts section 47 enquiries and establishes whether long term plans are needed for families. They also are involved in court work, work alongside private law teams and family support teams. The team ensures best interest decision making, arranges care home placements from the community and complex cases are ready to be transferred to teams that look after the longer term.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' experience. The ability to offer empathetic support to families who have been referred into Children's and Young People Services, with proven experience in a similar role. Demonstrable experience of assessments, care planning, person centred planning and care management skills.
