Children's Social Worker

We are looking for Qualified Social Workers to join a local authority in the Southwest.

About the role

This team implements the Family Safeguarding Model. The team are a multi-disciplinary team, which includes social workers, practitioners, and adult specialist workers, working together on a strength-based approach. You will be part of the transformation of the council and contribute to improving the safeguarding of Children and Young People.

About the role

This role requires a Social Work degree (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and experience within Child Protection, Children in Need or Referral & Assessment. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to engage and motivate children, young people, and their families. A driving license is not mandatory, but you will need to have access to travel around the council.
