Children's Social Worker

Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Children's Senior Social Worker to join a Children In Need Team on a Locum basis.

About the team

Within this team you will be managing a caseload of children and young people who are mainly subject to CIN, providing support, advocacy and coordinating a multi-agency in response to assessment of those at risk. You will be carrying out assessments to understand the level of support and intervention required. Additionally, provide support to trainees and colleagues, acting as a mentor to newly qualified social workers within the team.

About you

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, proactive professional with a strong working knowledge of Children's legislation and specific experience in Children In Need and Children Protection. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children's Services setting.
