Kinship Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join an SGO and Kinship Service.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to assess prospective Special Guardians and Kinship Carers. Part of the responsibilities this team has is to support the needs of carers and create support plans that are structured and comprehensive. The team work very closely with each carer to ensure they are well equipped to take on the responsibility of caring for a child or young person and in turn, setting them up for successful placements.

About you

The successful candidate will be proactive, hardworking and have extensive experience with SGO and Kinship assessment work. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' post qualification experience is essential for this role (a completed ASYE is counted as one completed year). A valid UK driving licence and car is preferred but not essential for this role.
