About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple nurseries in Reading and surrounding areas. You'll provide hands-on support to children aged 6 weeks to 4 years, assisting with their development through creative play, structured activities, and ensuring they are safe, nurtured, and supported at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to foster a caring and supportive environment.
  • Observe and record children's progress, helping them reach key developmental milestones.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Early Years is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and families.
  • A passion for early childhood education and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to your work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
