We are currently recruiting for Nursery Assistants to join our team and work within a well-established nursery setting in Newbury on a flexible, agency basis.

This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for working with children, whether you have previous nursery experience or are looking to start a career in early years.

About the Role

As an agency Nursery Assistant, you will have the flexibility to choose shifts that suit you while gaining valuable experience within a supportive nursery environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with daily activities.
Engaging with children to support their learning and development.
Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Working alongside permanent staff to provide high-quality care.

About You

Some experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, school, or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
A willingness to learn and develop your skills in early years education.
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare policies (training provided if needed).
