Senior Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Review and update care practices to align with the latest standards and guidelines.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive support plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure plans are effective and person-centered.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure that all risk assessments are up-to-date and reviewed regularly to reflect any changes in circumstances.
  • Train and guide team members on risk management practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Strong understanding of audits, support planning, and risk assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills.
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care
