Social worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children's Referral and Assessment Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

This team works directly with children and families focussing on initial involvement through new referrals, child in need, child protection and initial court proceedings. This will include strategy discussions, Initial Child Protection Conferences; Child In Need Planning and taking court actions. The team works directly with families in their time of crisis which helps to prevent increase of concerns.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience working with children, their families and court work will aid in the effectiveness of the role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is essential to the success of this role.
