Job description

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children Safeguarding Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

As a Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at risk of harm, abuse, or neglect. This team focuses on developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with other professionals whilst providing expert advice, guidance and support in safeguarding matters. It is important to stay up to date with safeguarding legislation and best practices to ensure a high-quality service delivery.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience working with children, their families and court work will aid in the effectiveness of the role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
