Supervising Social Worker

About the team

You will be working for an 'Outstanding' rated Independent Fostering Agency with an established therapeutic led approach. You will be responsible for ensuring that the child's care and development needs are met by undertaking necessary placement management, planning and intervention, and includes completing parenting assessments for parent and child placements as well as supporting foster carers in understanding the developmental trauma needs of children and guiding them in how to care for children who present challenging behaviours.

About the role

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with previous experience in Fostering is desirable for this role. You might also have a background in Children's front-line services, Looked After Children or Adoption, this would be considered. As a Supervising Social Worker it is mandatory that you have a driving license and access to your own vehicle.
