Job description

Do you have experience working with young people in care or vulnerable people? Are you interested in working with young adults and children? Are you emotionally and physically resilient?

If you have answered yes to any of the above, then please get in touch as we have an opportunity available to work in a children's homes as a Residential Care Worker.

The service is a children's home which offers care and support to young people aged 8-18 who have Emotional Behavioural Disorders

The young people can present challenging behaviours full training will be provided.

On offer as a Residential Care Worker.

  • Starting salary of £23,000
  • Additional £70 per sleep
  • Overtime paid an at enhanced rate
  • Rota'd hours between 8am-11pm and alternate weekend working

The successful candidate must have

  • Experience working with young people in Childrens Homes, Care Leavers, Youth Justice or similar
  • Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people, residential settings and developing independence
  • Emotional and Physical resilience as you will need to work with behaviours that challenge
