Job Opportunity: Support Worker - Adults Supported Living Accommodation, Weymouth

Are you passionate about making a real difference in someone's life? We're looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join a team at a supported living accommodation in Weymouth, providing care and support to a female client with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) and Epilepsy.

Please note: This role is only available for candidates who have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you'll be delivering high-quality care and supporting the client's independence through well-planned activities. You will help with personal care needs, and you'll also need to be Buccal Midazolam trained, which will be provided by the agency. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and implementing activities to promote independence and engagement.

  • Personal care, ensuring dignity and respect.

  • Working closely with a supportive team to enhance the client's overall quality of life.

Shift Times:

  • Day shifts available:

    • 07:30 - 14:30

    • 08:00 - 15:00

    • 14:30 - 21:30

    • 15:00 - 21:00

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 6 months to 1 year experience in supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities.

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS check.

  • Demonstrates a calm, patient, and compassionate nature.

  • Has great communication skills and is passionate about delivering person-centered care.
