Support Worker Autism

Do you have experience working in adult education, Autism support work or have a passion to support vulnerable adults? Do you want to work Monday to Friday only? This is for you!

I am looking to recruit Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist adult education centre for adults with Autism. You will be working with learners on a 1:1 basis, helping them with their daily routine in the centre (which could include personal care) and assisting them in their education.

The Learning Support Assistant will be positive, energetic, excellent communication skills, emotional and phyiscal resilience (as there could be aggressive behaviour).

To be considered for this role, you must have the following

• Experience in working with or volunteering adults with learning disabilities or within adult social care
• If not the above, experience working in a sector supporting people (homeless, ambulance, prison)
• Genuine passion and commitment to working with learning disabilities
• Full Driving License is desirable (or must be able to commute to Cranleigh)
