My client is an ambitious private care company who operate high quality, child focused children's homes across the UK. We are looking for Residential Support Workers to join their home in Corwen, Denbighshire.

Working in a residential children's home includes supporting young people with daily routine such as washing, cleaning, meal times and homework, supporting them in their interests and hobbies, de-escalation of challenging behaviour including physical and verbal aggression.

This is a full-time permanent role that includes shift patterns covering weekdays, weekends, long days, and overnight stays. The shift pattern is 2 days on (48 hours) and 4 days off which allows you to have a substantial break between your shifts.

If you had experience working with children, or experience working with young adults with challenging behaviours then I would like to hear from you. Someone who is enthusiastic, confident, and passionate about supporting young people.

What are the requirements:

  • Ideally experience working with children and young people (schools, youth work, fostering, SEN education or children in care)
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preference not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (preferrred)
