Job description
A specialist "Outstanding" rated Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Team Manager to provide supervision and support to a small group of supervising social workers across Kent and Sussex. As the Team Manager, you will be committed to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. This role is a full-time, Homeworking, permanent position and you will be based from home, with some meetings in their head office in South Kent / Sussex borders.
The ideal Team Manager will have experience of working with children with complex medical needs and physical and learning disabilities along with a knowledge and understanding within a Fostering team.

Your responsibilities as the Team Manager:
- Participate in recruitment plans
- Oversee regional foster placement capacity
- Liaising with the referral and placements team
- Provide management and quality assurance
- Participate in the Out of Hours on-call service
Requirements of you as the Team Manager:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A valid registration with social work England
- Experience of working with Fostering
- A knowledge of or experience of working with Children with Disabilities
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and a fully operational vehicle
Location: South of England
Salary: up to £50,000 + £3,600 on call allowance
