Charles Hunter Associates are thrilled to announce the opening of a new Temporary Social Care division! 

Charles Hunter Associates lives and breathes Social Care and Social Work and we want to be able to provide an exceptional service to everyone in this sector. We are now proud to say we are well on the way to reaching that goal. Along with the new division, we also welcome the lovely Katie Baker, who will be heading up the team. She is thrilled by the opportunity to join the Charles Hunter family and is already speaking with a vast number of high calibre candidates.

Katie fell into the wonderful world of recruitment after graduating from the University of Exeter in Sociology. After working her way through the ranks, Katie now has over 11 years of experience, purely in the Social Care sector. This has given her a wealth of knowledge which she knows will help tailor her recruitment approach to both clients and candidates.

Katie has always specialised in Social Care for the local area. She knows Berkshire like the back of her hand and knows that in a sector such as this, you need to take the time and effort to meet face to face with the people you represent. The main goal for this division is to become the leading recruitment practice for Temporary Social Care.

The new division means we are in the process of growing the team at Charles Hunter Associates, so those who join can look forward to Katie’s supportive managerial style. Katie prides herself on taking the time to get to know those who work around her and finding a management style that suits. In return she asks for people who can show passion and patience. 

Charles Hunter Associates’ aim for the Temporary Social Care division is to provide a truly honest service. We know that you can only succeed in this sector when you are upfront and communicate everything with both clients and candidates. Ultimately, there is often someone vulnerable who needs the extra support we recruit.
