Director’s Choice Winner: Marcus Burns. 

At the end of every year, Charles Hunter Associates hosts an Annual Awards Ceremony where a variety of CHA awards are presented. As a part of this year’s awards, we have decided to give you an insight into the story behind the winners of: Director’s Choice, Newcomer of the Year, and Consultant’s Consultant.

This article focuses on the Director’s Choice winner, Marcus Burns.

Marcus joined the company in April 2016 and has grown his Locum Social Work desk exponentially. Marcus has always been one of the hardest workers in the room and this has not gone unnoticed by the Managing Director, Jonathan. His relentless work ethic keeps him in the office much later than anyone else and he often sacrifices his lunch breaks. No one asks him to do this and no one expects him to do this, but he does it anyway. This is the sign of a truly ambitious individual who will go extremely far in Charles Hunter Associates.

If you were to ask Marcus where he gets his motivation to stay late and put in so much extra work, he will say it is because of his clients and candidates. Marcus works with many of his clients on an exclusive basis because they trust him and his work ethic. He truly values his clients and will offer a seamless Recruitment service every time.

Marcus has broken countless records both personally and within the Social Work Locum division. Most recently, he has broken the record for most temps out working and this does not come as a surprise to anyone at Charles Hunter. We are hugely proud of the success Marcus has seen in his first Recruitment role and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for him at Charles Hunter Associates.
