The NORAs (National Online Recruitment Awards) were established in order to recognise and acclaim the very best examples of online recruitment in the UK. There are 12 awards, presented to job boards, Recruitment Agencies, publications and employers themselves. Charles Hunter Associates has been fortunate enough to be nominated for ‘Best Small Recruitment Agency’ in their 2018 listing.

Finalists for the NORAs are chosen by members of the public, meaning the nomination came as a complete surprise to us! We are over the moon that our clients and candidates feel we are worthy of the accolade and we cannot wait to attend the awards evening in November.

To qualify for a NORA, the judges assess the digital journey of a candidate using both desktop and mobile devices. This means they put themselves in the shoes of our Social Work and Social Care candidates and judge the site accordingly.

In January 2017, we created a brand-new website which allows our candidates to find their ideal Social Work or Social Care job as quickly as possible. The website has grown exponentially since its inception and we are constantly adapting and improving the user experience.

Our candidates benefit from the predictive search function on the home page which allows them to start typing anything they require in their next Social Work or Social Care role. It then brings up roles which fit the description in real-time as they type.

We regularly update the website with new additions to improve the user experience for our clients and candidates. Most recently, we have integrated our Feefo reviews into the homepage. Charles Hunter Associates has always upheld the value of Transparency and by using an unfiltered review platform, such as Feefo, our candidates can feel confident in their choice to use Charles Hunter Associates.

The award winners will be announced on Wednesday 14th November and we cannot wait to see the results. It is an honour to have been nominated for a NORA and regardless of the outcome, we are ecstatic to have been recognised as a Finalist.
