Abby Bryant Joins Compliance+ Standards Committee
On the 6th November, APSCo announced the new members of the Social Work and Education Compliance+ Standards Committees. The Standards Committee used to be made up of experts in the Compliance sector, but this year APSCo has decided to create a committee of industry-specific expert representatives.
Joining the new Social Work Compliance+ Standards Committee is our very own Associate Director, Abby Bryant! Abby has been with Charles Hunter Associates since 2012 and now heads up our Locum Social Work Division. Abby has played a key role in training up our award-winning Compliance team and offers guidance to many of the Locums working on behalf of Charles Hunter Associates.
Compliance has always been the cornerstone of Charles Hunter Associates, striving to offer a Seamless and Consistent Recruitment service to all our clients and candidates. We push ourselves to surpass expectations and to go above and beyond what is required of an agency. This year, Charles Hunter Associates passed the Compliance+ audit for the fourth year in a row, giving us the coveted Compliance+ Accreditation.
APSCo developed its Compliance+ accreditation to provide an uncompromising quality benchmark for Education and Social Work Recruitment companies. It compels members to go beyond statutory safeguarding standards and aim for excellence in competency selection and service quality. By securing this accreditation, we are demonstrating our market leading operation and distinguishing ourselves from other Recruitment agencies in this space.
By securing a position on the Social Work Compliance+ Standards Committee, Abby will now be one of the key decision makers in nationwide Compliance strategies for 2019. Her experience in the Social Work Recruitment sector gives her key insights into what is needed for ensuring the safety of Social Workers and the vulnerable individuals they work with. We wish her the best of luck in her new position!
Abby Bryant had this to say on being appointed as a committee member:
“I am delighted to be part of the APSCo Compliance+ Standards Committee. I am really looking forward to the year ahead and I have lots of ideas for strategies we can hopefully implement in 2019! I can’t wait to work with the other Recruitment professionals on the Social Work Compliance+ Standards Committee. There are a few familiar faces and I think the team will successfully implement some market leading strategies.”
On the appointments, Ann Swain, Chief Executive of APSCo, commented:
“Congratulations to our new representatives and thank you to everyone who put themselves forward for the roles. These are prestigious positions and all of our committee members come with both glowing credentials and a breadth of experience in their respective sectors. I have no doubt that each one will have valuable insight to contribute as we build on our Compliance+ strategy and business plans for 2019 to support compliance of the recruitment profession within these vital markets.”
