Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join an integrated Family Safeguarding Team.

With this role, it is REQUIRED to have a social work qualification with 3 years minimum of permanent post qualified experience.

About The Team

The team works directly with families and children to offer intervention through Child Protection and complex Child in Need proceedings. When formal intervention is required, the team do their best to avoid escalation past what is necessary. Pre birth assessments, PLO/pre proceedings and court statements are some key assessments the team deals with. They aim to work with a strength based approach to ensure the best outcomes for all.

About you

Experience required within Children In Need and Child Protection will work well with this role. A degree within Social Work (Degree/ DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified work experience is required.
