We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join our clients Residential Children's Home based in Southampton

About the team

Our client based in Southampton is an EBD children's homes that also supports young people with learning difficulties and Asperge's syndrome. The home promotes young people's independence and enhances on their activities and skill set through offering a stable home environment and encouraging activities in the community.

About you

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll offer emotional support to young people and assist with daily activities like personal care and getting ready for school. On weekends, you'll be out and about, enjoying activities such as theme parks, bowling, cinemas, and zoos-making work feel more like fun.

While there will be challenges, as these homes support young people with autism, learning difficulties, and mental health needs, the strong relationships and positive memories you build will be rewarding. Many of their workers find it fulfilling to see young people overcome obstacles and thrive.

Located in the heart of Southampton, this 5-bedded Children's Home provides care for children with learning disabilities, attachment disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, and other related conditions, as well as those facing mental health issues or difficult family situations.

Shifts/Rotas:

  • 5 hours a week - 4 week rolling rota
  • Must be available to work alternating weekends
  • 7am - 10pm / 2:30pm-10pm
  • 1 sleep in per week
