Supervising social worker

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join a Fostering Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

This team of social workers supervise and support a caseload of foster carers, ensuring they are well-supported and equipped to provide high-quality care to children and young people. They conduct regular home visits to foster carers to assess their practice, identify training needs, and provide practical and emotional support. As well as undertaking assessments of prospective foster carers, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and are suitable to care for children in need.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience working with within a fostering role is necessary. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
