Job description
A Charity is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Fostering Recruitment Team based in the East Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time position that can be hybrid working.
The ideal applicant will have post qualification Fostering experience especially with regards to Fostering Recruitment (Assessment). You will need to possess the drive to match this Charity's ambitions.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Practitioner:
- Supervising other Social Workers
- Managing Independent Social Workers undertaking Assessments
- Contribution to Foster Care recruitment strategies
- Quality Assurance
- Deputising for Service Development Manager
Requirements of you as the Senior Practitioner:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- A Social Work England registration
- Significant experience of working in Fostering
- Experience of supervising staff (desirable)
- Post qualification experience in Children's Social Work
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Location: Leicestershire/Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire (hybrid)
Salary scale: £36,000 + £40,000 + benefits
