Job description

Support Worker required to assist in children's residential homes in Northampton.

This is a Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

About the role:

You will be working in a children's residential home supporting young people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Trauma and EBD. This provider has 3 homes; 2 ofsted registered and 1 CQC registered. They are looking for committed support workers to join their team and progress up the leadership ladder.

About you:

A successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people, supporting within residential or semi independent settings. You should either have your NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or be willing to work towards this.

Pay starting from £12.00 per hour PAYE and £15.22 per hour Umbrella

Requirements for you as the Support Worker:

  • Experience in Support Work
  • Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills
  • Enhanced Child and Adults DBS
  • Be able to travel to Northampton in your own vehicle or via public transport.

Shift Times:

  • 40 hours per weeks
  • 2 Sleep-Ins Per Week
  • No Waking Nights
