CAMHS Social Worker

We are looking for Children's Social Worker to join a CAMHS Service.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works with children and young people to support them and their carers through mental health crisis. The team works to complete risk assessments, create safety plans and manage a caseload that when appropriate, is escalated. This role involves crisis and routine work on hospital wards, and in the community. The team has a responsibility to work cohesively with connected services and social care teams to ensure the best care and support is given to children and young people.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience within a children's mental health service lends exceptionally well to this role also. A valid UK driving licence is required due to the community based aspect of this position.
