Senior Support Worker (Temp to Perm)

Location: Herefordshire Ledbury
Starting Pay: £12.60 per hour (PAYE)

Must have a full UK driver's license.

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be providing high-quality support to children with learning disabilities, social emotional needs and challenging behaviours. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering stability and the chance to grow within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Children with emotional, physical, and mental health needs, including challenging behaviours.
  • Ensure the welfare and care of each child. Give guidance and support to all residential workers.
  • Lead and support a team of care workers to deliver exceptional care.
  • Maintain clear communication with both clients and team members.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and public holidays, according to the needs of the service.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in support work, particularly with children with disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • Previous experience in a senior role within the childrens residential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People Workforce. (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and a self-motivated attitude.
  • An Enhanced Child and Adults DBS on the Update Service.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and travel to Herefordshire.

Must held a full UK driver's license and be able to travel to Herefordshire Ledbury area.
